A Collection of Fresh Vegetable Juice Recipes All Dripping With Goodness

Part 1 of 4

Here is a collection of fresh vegetable juice recipes. Start enjoying the benefits of juicing with these juice recipes and really get your creative juices going!

To write this page about fresh vegetable juice recipes, I asked several people from several geographical areas to submit their favorite fresh juice recipes. The response was overwhelming, so this is actually a four-part series of a great collection of fresh vegetable juices; most of the juice recipes contain fruits, too.

Mixing fruits and vegetables gives you the goodness of both and makes straight vegetable juice more palatable. If you don't have a juicer (you will want one after reading some of these recipes!), try the ingredients in your blender and just add pure water pure water for blending. Whatever you decide to do, enjoy it!

Just a note: Don't waste the pulp from all of this goodness! Here are some ideas for using the pulp:

  • great organic fertilizer for your garden
  • freeze it and add it to muffins (for those in your family who don't eat raw)
  • add it to your dog food (just avoid tomato pulp for doggies) for a healthy addition
  • add it to your homemade flax crackers
  • add it to you next And without further ado, here is the first of a four-part series on fresh vegetable juice recipes (with a few fruit recipes thrown in just for good measure).

Deborah says, "I run an internet site for B&B's and we have a tremendous amount of writing deadlines, so I am always running out of the house fast in the morning. My favorite recipe is with coconut water.”

    Deborah's Favorite Coconut Water Recipe

1 handful of triple washed and chilled arugula (sometimes called "rocket")
1 cup of coconut water (chilled)
    1 slice of apple (optional)

“Both have to be well chilled. Blend in a blender (leaving the juicer for the afternoon), pour and either guzzle or sip, depending on time.

Remarkably, I have noticed a drop in blood pressure to normal on most of the days I do this. The coconut water is 70 calories and all the chlorophyll makes me smell good."

From Jinjee Talifero, creator of The Garden Diet says:

“This is the yummiest green juice recipe I know and contains several powerful “True Super Foods,” including celery, kale, cucumber, lemon and apples. In fact, those are all the ingredients and each one is an incredible superfood in its own right.

Celery, 'the great balancer', is able to liquify unwanted stones and deposits that may be causing stiffness, repair nerve cells, create a perfect pH balance, and balance out sodium levels helping your body assimilate and function at its best.

Kale, the most nutrient dense food in the world with untold number of vitamins, high in minerals, full of antioxidants and phytonutrients.

Cucumber, one of the most hydrating foods, rich in electrolytes, a known beautifier.

Lemon, one of the most powerful cleansers known to man.

And apples, the perfect food. Here is the recipe:”

    Jinjee's Yummiest Green Juice

    1 bunch of kale
    3 cucumbers, quartered
    1 lemon, quartered
