Breakfast smoothie recipes need to be fast, easy, delicious and nutritious. These recipes for smoothies include both whole-fruit smoothies and vegan, raw protein smoothies.

Orange Delight

Ingredients:

6 oranges
2 bananas
Ice cubes, optional

Directions:

Juice the oranges using a citrus juicer. Place the juice and the peeled banana in a blender. Add ice cubes and blend until smooth.

Melon Milk

Ingredients:

1 ripe cantaloupe and/or honeydew, cut into chunks
Ice cubes, if desired

Directions:

Place melon chunks into blender and ice cubes if using. Blend until smooth. The result is a milky-looking, tasty drink. To save time in the morning, cut up the melons at night and place them in the blender jar. In the morning, all you have to do is blend and drink.

Orange Creamscicle Smoothie (non vegan)

Remember when breakfast consisted of milk, eggs and orange juice? I came up with this breakfast smoothie when I had clementines that inadvertently got frozen. I had to use them up so I made this Orange Creamscicle Smoothie.

Ingredients:

7 clementines (peeled and seeded)
1/2 cup nut milk
1/2 cup raw honey

Directions:

Combine all a blender and blend on high until smooth.

Pina Colada Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 young, green coconut, milk and meat
1/2 fresh, ripe sweet pineapple, cut into chunks
Ice cubes, if desired

Directions:

Combine everything in the blender and blend until smooth. The meat of immature coconuts is a jelly-like substance. The water from the coconut is enough to blend all of this together without having to add any extra water.

For variations on this tropical theme, replace the pineapple with any fresh fruit, such as strawberries, blueberries, peaches, etc.

If you feel that you need more for your body and busy day, simply add 1 or 2 scoops of Organic Raw Meal Replacement Powder to any of your smoothie recipes. I was so happy to find this product since it makes all kinds of breakfast smoothie recipes even easier and more nutritious. Organic Raw Meal is designed to be added to a smoothie or raw juice to give you a complete and totally raw meal. A smoothie made with this makes a perfect raw lunch shake, also.
